Teddy Karlinski Memorial Golf Scholarship

Teddy Karlinski was a dedicated Aspen Junior Golf participant who died tragically at the age of 28 on September 26, 2016 from complications due to an epileptic seizure.  Teddy’s unsurpassed passion for golf was nurtured for years through Aspen Junior Golf where he sharpened his game, made friends, helped others, amassed many awards and tournament wins and had a lot of fun.  Teddy went on to become a leading Aspen High School varsity golfer serving 3-years as MVP and leading his team as captain. In 2005 he qualified for the State 4A Championship where he finished 2nd after a 6-hole sudden death playoff.

Scholarships will be awarded annually to athletes seeking to elevate their skill and competition level and who embody Teddy’s traits of commitment, ability, sportsmanship, humility, leadership and kindness toward others. The scholarship is open to active members of AJG aged 12 – 18. Please complete the application and submit via this website. An award amount will be determined and funds will be dispersed once expenses such as travel, lodging and entry fees are verified.
